PIRATES SWORD

Blow the balloon up fully - no wiggly bit. Hold the knot and pull it down the balloon about 25cm. Wrap it round and round the ballon there. Now poke the end of the balloon through that loop, almost right through. You now have a handle and a curved sword - a scimitar

BARBIE
SWORD

Make it with a pink balloon and give it to a boy. They still react against pink! Call it a Barbie Sword but explain that it's use is to rid the world of Barbies.

ENGLISH SWORD

Make a bubble (the handle - about 10cm). Now a bubble about 15cm but bend it in half and twist (a bit like the simple dog?). Now another 15cm bubble, bend and twist at the same spot. Again a third time. Arrange the three loops so they protect the handle. Voilà!

RAY GUN

D'you know why it's called a RAY gun? Because when I fire it everyone shouts 'ray....' (hooray - get it?). Fire it in an arc as they shout. Then do just the big loud strong boys. Then the sweet little pretty pink girls with BARBIE voices (which will be louder than the boys!). Have fun! 10cm bubble (handle), loop like the sword, then a small bubble, another loop, another bubble, a third loop. Now poke the end of the balloon through the three loops.
