A raygun is just a dog with a long tail!
A hat is just the first BEND, SQUEEZE, TWIST of a dog again.
HOW EASY DO YOU WANT THIS?????????????

EASY PEASY SWORD?

Do the first BEND, SQUEEZE, TWIST - but only a small nose, and ears big enough to squeeze your hand through.
Now poke the long end back through the ears, but not right through. Leave enough NOT through cos that's the sword handle.
You now have a Pirates Sword, nicely curved, as they were! If it's not curved enough - bend it! believe it or not, they hold their shape!
Offer it to someone and then SHOUT at them when they grab hold of the SHARP BIT!

EASY PEASY RAY GUN?

Make a dog and poke the tail through the back legs, and the front legs, and the ears. That's all it is - a dog with a long tail
But - make the bend for the ears and the bend for the front legs and the bend for the back legs all the same length.
AND make the nose about 100mm, but the neck and body are just small bubbles about 30mm each.
Now move/turn the ears round so they point down, like the legs.
What's left, the tail, should poke through the back legs, through the front legs and through the ears. It may only just get through the ears.
The nose is the handle and the end of the tail points forward.
It's also a hairdryer. Later on I tell you a routine for this 'HooRAY gun'

EASY PEASY HAT?

Just like the sword or the beginning of the dog, but the ears this time are a really big loop. Big enough, in fact, to slip over your head. You could make another dog and slip its legs over the 'stick' of the hat. Looks just like a Monkey on a Stick!
